What's included in our Driving Courses?
On this page, your find more details on what to expect during one of our Driving Courses.
1
What do I get in a Driving Course?
A Driving Skill Driving Course is designed to help learners become safe and confident drivers.
Lesson plans that see students get behind the wheel with an instructor for just 1 hour a week—doesn't always work.
With a Driving Course, you'll be learning for between 4-5 hours a session with a lunch break mid-way though the session to reflect and discuss with your instructor your progress, and not forgetting a well earned lunch.
Why do we only do a maximum of 4-5 hours per session?
Well not everyone is the same, pupils learn at a different pace and our instructors fully appreciate that positive learning helps pupils to enjoy the sessions, and in turn good progress is made. Anything more than 4-5 hours starts to have a draining effect and mistakes start to happen.

Those who choose the 30 hour course, will have enough time to improve on the fundamental driving skills they've mastered and move on to tackling some of the more advanced areas like manoeuvres and roundabouts.
The 25 hour course gives learners who can just about get from A to B without any help the chance to move on to the more complicated driving skills. There will still be time to practice what you've already mastered, but don't expect to spend much time on the basics!
The 20 hour course is ideal for those who are halfway through their learning process. You should be at a standard and quite a confident driver, so the course will focus on mastering key skills like parking and reversing.

The refresher packages: 10, 15 hour courses
Our refresher courses are intended to do just that—refresh your existing driving skills. If you already know how to drive and just need a final boost or chance to recap some key areas, this kind of course could be just what you need. Also very helpful for people who are coming back to driving after taking a break.
The 15 hour course is ideal if you just need to master a couple of important skills that you've already started to learn. You won't have time to go over anything too basic, but you'll be able to work on and expand your existing skills until they're perfect.
